Considerations - IT'S NOT A COUNTRY FOR YOUNG

Sorry if I didn't post in a while, but when you are at home time flies. Luckily the weather has been great and we could enjoy the italian summer till the end, we've been so busy with our friends and family and enjoyed a bit of holidays too. We ate so much that we took few kilos in just a month. There is nothing to say.... Italy is a beautiful country, there is nothing to compare with smells, taste and landscape.
We've been to Garda Lake (where I am born) and the mountains around and then to Rimini (on the east coast in the Adriatic Sea, where Carlo used to live) and San Marino Republic. Here below some pics about…
Scusate se non ho postato per un po', ma quando sei a casa il tempo vola.
Fortunatamente il tempo e' stato fantastico ed abbiamo potuto goderci l'estate italiana fino alla fine; siamo stati cosi' impegnati con le famiglie e gli amici e ci siamo goduti anche un po' di vacanze. Abbiamo mangiato talmente tanto che abbiamo preso qualche kilo in giusto un mesetto. Non c'e' niente da dire.... L'Italia e' un bellissimo paese, non c'e' niente da paragonare con gli odori, il cibo e il paesaggio.
Siamo andati sul Lago di Garda (dove sono nata) e le montagne intorno e poi a Rimini (sulla costa est nel mare Adriatico, dove Carlo viveva) e la Repubblica di San Marino.

In my opinion, I see Italy worse than before, in particular for young people like us; I don’t see many options to work and live well unless you are still at home with your parents. With that I don’t mean that it is not possible but only that the expectations are not the best and I start to miss the Australian life style, the “no worries mate and take it easy” that was part of every single day, because life is not meant only to work hard but enjoy the little things.
I feel sad for the situation with immigrants but Italy had always troubles of this kind so it doesn’t surprise me. At the moment I don’t feel ready to live here, but it's normal: when you come back you see only the negative parts of your country.
I hope one day someone will wake up this population and will improve everything (starting from services and transports) and make Italy great again like it was in the past by giving work to young people and letting the old ones go to their sweaty pension.
Now it's time to leave again and start a new and excited adventure in Costa Rica. I will try to keep it up to date.

Dal mio punto di vista, vedo l'Italia peggiorata rispetto a come me la ricordavo, in particolare per i giovani come noi; non vedo molte opzioni per lavorare e vivere bene almeno che non vivi ancora a casa con mamma e papa'. Con questo non voglio dire che non e' possibile ma solo che le aspettative non sono le migliori ed inizia a mancarmi lo stile di vita australiano, il "no worries mate and take it easy" che faceva parte di ogni singolo giorno, perche' la vita non deve essere solo lavoro ma godersi le piccole cose.
Mi sento triste per la situazione con gli immigrati ma l'Italia ha sempre avuto questi tipi di problemi percio' non mi stupisce. Al momento non mi sento pronta a vivere qui, ma e' normale: quando torni indietro vedi solo gli aspetti negativi del tuo paese.
Spero un giorno qualcuno svegliera' questo popolo e migliorera' tutto (iniziando dai servizi e trasporti) e rendera' l'Italia di nuovo grande come e' stata in passato dando lavoro ai giovani e mandando i vecchi a godersi la loro sudata pensione.
Ora e' tempo di partire di nuovo ed iniziare una nuova ed emozionante avventura in Costa Rica. Cercero' di tenervi aggiornati.
